Alexis

Office Manager

Welcome to our practice! I am the friendly face you see at the front desk. I love to find ways to help people smile, and that includes building confidence to share that smile! As the office manager for MKD Dentistry, my job is to oversee the office operations, and I am committed to making our patients’ experience in our office a positive one! Our staff is very warm and inviting. I love the positive energy felt by everyone, and I really appreciate the attentive care our doctors and team strive to provide, as individuals and collectively, to each patient.

I joined MKD Dentistry in 2018, after being employed at our Pasadena location for four years. I have over 15 years of dental experience; I graduated dental assisting school in 2002 and received my RDA in 2003. Over the years, I have worked with several specialty practices and worked both the front and back office. Thus, I am knowledgeable in every aspect of the practice. My goal is to incorporate the knowledge and customer service that I have acquired to equip our team to best serve our patients and their families.

I am most proud of being a mother to my two children, and I enjoy spending my spare time with my family and friends.

Dayna

Partner / Senior Office Manager

Dayna brings her leadership to our practice with over 30 years as our office manager at Mak & Kleiger, DDS. Her expertise brings full comprehensive knowledge in dental insurance and treatment organization as well as office workflow.

Outside of the office, she enjoys caring for her beautiful granddaughters, tending a bountiful garden, devotedly attending church and enjoying time with her dog, Thor. Dayna and Thor are inseparable! He even works as the emotional support dog for Mak & Kleiger, DDS in Pasadena.

Adalia

Dental Assistant

Hi, my name is Adalia. I am 38 years young and have two beautiful children. I have been an RDA for over 15 years and enjoy my career choice very much. I have been with MKD Dentistry for over five years now and really take pleasure in being a part of their professional team, where I get the opportunity to utilize and continuously grow my RDA skills. The practice is always on top with all the new technology, and I know that our patients always receive top dental care.

Cyril

Dental Assistant

Hi, my name is Cyril, but everybody calls me “Cy.” I am an RDA and the back-office manager at our Pasadena office. I have been in the field of dentistry for more than 20 years. I joined the family in 2007 in our Pasadena office. I love what I do, so I never feel like I had to work. I treat people as I want to be treated. Jennifer

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jennifer became a part of our wonderful team in 2015! She graduated from the dental assisting program at North West College in 2008 and the registered dental hygiene program at San Joaquin Valley in 2015. In 2018, she also completed a degree as a registered dental hygienist in alternative practice from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. As the registered dental hygienist at MKD Dentistry, she shares her knowledge with our patients in order to promote oral health wellness and disease prevention. She feels that it is very important to always go over radiographs, charts and exams together with her patients so that they have a good understanding of the report for that day and are able to take that knowledge home with them.

Jennifer loves being part of such a great office! For her, the staff and dentists make it easy to want to be at work. She feels good about all of the work that is being done at MKD Dentistry and it truly makes her proud and happy to be part of this team.

She is married with one son. They come from big families and love spending time with them. Holidays are always a big deal to them, and they are constantly celebrating someone or something! Jennifer had some time on her hands during the COVID-19 pandemic and learned to enjoy cooking and experimenting with food. As mentioned, she spends a lot of time with family. She loves to gather ideas from Pinterest and attempt to put beautiful events together.
